About

DREEm: Digital, Regeneration and Experience Economy modelling: is a project led by University of the Arts London (UAL), with the University of the West England, RHP Ltd, and industry partners from across the UK.

The research is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), supporting the regeneration of the experience economy in the wake of Covid-19.

Working across the experience economy, our research integrates four key areas:

  • Creative: engaging with organisations across the creative and cultural sectors, we are supporting the ideation and development of digital adaptation and economic resilience strategies, informing the strategic response to the pandemic.
  • Visitor: working with stakeholders across the tourism sectors, our research informs digital strategies for tourism organisations.
  • Digital: providing an interface between experience operators and creatives, we are engaging with production companies and freelancers, to help mobilise the state-of-the-art in digital production to innovate within the experience economy.
  • Networks: we are working with existing networks across the creative, cultural and visitor sectors, towards the development of policy initiatives and experience research
