Carnaby Echoes
Carnaby Echoes is a free walking tour app, created to help visitors explore the rich music history associated with the area in London. The app offers users audio, photography and video content to reveal stories and history through interviews and music connected to the venues, clothes shops, nightclubs and magazine offices that helped create the various sub-cultures of diverse musical genre which have emerged from to the Carnaby area over the last 10 years. Contributors to the app including Boy George, Mark Ellen, Lloyd Coxsone and Doc Brown. Shaftesbury PLC has significant investment in the Carnaby area and commissioned the project.
